Crazy amounts of money following Marvel releases is nothing new. But considering the fact that the MCU now has over 10 movies out, the cumulative total is racking up. Thanks to the release of Spider-Man: Homecoming, the MCU has now racked up over $12 billion at the worldwide box office.

Sure, the new Spider-Man flick isn’t a solely Marvel Studios product. This was actually a collaborative venture between Marvel and Sony. But it still counts!

Tom Holland made his debut as Spider-Man in ‘Captain America: Civil War.’

Spider-Man: Homecoming just came out on July 7, 2017. However, it’s already had an impressive financial opening. Worldwide, it’s already pulled in over $256 million at the box office.

Critics are loving it, too. It has a 93% “certified fresh” rating on Rotten Tomatoes, which means 93% of critics give it a thumbs up.
